FINALLY I've made it again! We have not been on holidays, no one was ill - all the time (and nerves) for 12 of 12!
The first mess of the day
Ready to go!
At Grandma's and Grandpa's we are proudly showing off the swallowed penny!
Ryan and his grandad - one heart and one soul ♥
My son is THE cuddler at the moment - here he is raping his great grandma :-)
At a quite late early evening time a quick run to the shop
The essentials: nappies, toilet roll, cat food and wrapping paper :-)
Typically british night - a takeaway curry....
.... and the X-Factor final part 1
The last mess of the day
And the christmas angel is sleeping

Child has a tummy bug
But in the meantime all is well again, we're back to normal and slowly but for sure we can dedicate ourselves to the happy anticipation of Christmas!
On the 6th of december my son recived his first "Nikolo"-bag. Nikolo is our version of Father Christmas/Santa Claus. He originates from the same legend, the same person, but in our tradition he only brings one small present accompanied by nuts, oranges and sweets on the 6th of december. Traditionally the bag was put in a shoe- the custom goes back to the same origin as the anglo-american stockings.
But Raymond does not seem to be in proper Christmas mood yet - he just hates this suit!

Actually I haven't shown you much of the most beautiful of all children recently :-)
In a few days he's going to be 16 months. With every day he gets more incredible. Incredibly cute, incredibly ravishing, incredibly clever, incredibly great - but also incredibly short tempered...
And here his new found love - a generous hand-me-down of a distant aquaintance

What a day! I was anyway in a skipping happy happy mood as my best friend gave birth to her daughter this morning - and then my Kawaii swap parcel from Daniela of BATHINA arrived! What joy!
Already on the outside this beautiful tape
Look at the incredible packaging - so much love is put into detail with those stuck on little things!
I LOVE those Kawaii stickers! :D ♥
Such a great parcel of course also contains a great card!
In every gift a Hello Kitty bubble gum was put in - and lots of cute bric-a-brac!
Daniela made me a supersweet tissue purse
One of my special highlights - a Hello Kitty mobile phone-belt bag!!
A beautiful little purse!
My second special highlight - a lanyard! What Daniela couldn't have known is that I lost my keys just recently and I was actually on the hunt for a perfect lanyard! I love it! ♥
And now look at this girly monkey! Isn't she adorable?
Not only I fell instantly in love with her - the young man asked her outright for a dance :-)
Liebe Daniela - ich danke dir! Die Sachen sind einfach toll. Nein toller. Tolllllllssssst. Am tollllllllstesten :D
Dear Daniela - thank you! The things are just great. No greater. Greattttttesssssssst. Greateressstest :D

After a blimmin' long time finally a Watcha Wearing Wednesday again!
Mummy with son under her poncho - after 20 minutes of wrestling (the son refuses to leave his arms inside) and a dispute about his hat...
...he was shifted to the front again, with a warmer coat and no poncho and this photo symbolizes quite well Watcha NOT Wearing Wednesday.... This ongoing fight with the hat is driving me bonkers I tell ya...
Furthermore in blog terms I haven't told you that I can now tick the boxes with the 30 in it. The obligatory pre-midlife crisis I think I have overcome, it still doesn't hurt and from my loved ones I received beautiful prettyfullness. My most favourite Kawaii selection I want to show you!
My dad and my lovely man were the heroes of the day - my Kawaii heart ♥ nearly overspilled when I saw the Hello Kitty bag and the collectors perfumes!
My pride are of course the Harajuku-Girls (the perfumes) - btw I officially received them from my son :-))

The lovely Dani of BATHINA and me share a very special passion. Kawaii ♥. HERE a little help with the definition of the word. Both of us are actually in love with this - attitude of life. On her blog it is actually quite obvious. :-).
So we - just the two of us - made a little Kawaii swap. This was my third swap and I put my heart into all of them, but this swap has extra special heart ♥ crocheted into it - yes yes I just love Kawaii!
Daniela has a little chihuahua named Schoko - so a Mini Schoko for her (or her Blythe!)
Schoko ist nach DIESEM Muster gearbeitet
Schoko is done according to THIS pattern
Muster - HIER
A hat for Zülea, her blythe doll - after all it's winter! Pattern - HERE
A miniature keepsake box - you can never have enough cupcakes - especially if it's filled with a kawaiiesque little deer necklace! Pattern is my own.
So sweet I get a toothache just from looking at it - a bearpop! Pattern is my own.
This also makes my Kawaii heart jump a little higher - a tripple scoop ice cream cone keyring or bag charm! Pattern is my own.
And the hearty core ♥ of the packet - Feodora, the pink deer, for the deer-loving Dani!
Feodora is worked after the Friends Forever Fawn in Elisabeth Dohertys book but her look is based on THESE pictures.
I hope Dani enjoys and loves these kawaii critters a much as I did making them!
PS: The links for the Chihuahua and the Blythe hat pattern were working fine a little while ago but not anymore? Was I just lucky and now they are not available for free anymore?

Is maybe someone interested in swapping "services"? To be precise: YOUR sewing skill for MY crocheting skills. I am thinking of a very specific pattern... If someone is interested please drop me a line!

Back from my beautiful home country! As I stayed longer I unfortunately can't make the breastfeeding conference I was planning to attend from today onwards. It's just too close. But my lovely LLL Ladies were sent off with a little something for the craft fayre there to raise money for the LLL.
Lollipops mal anders - Busenpops!
Lollipops of a different kind - Boobiepops!
Here on the last piccie actually a bearpop mingled with them :-)
